We have a retired clan member that is betta tester for the POE. You can check out there teaser video here. There version of the eurofighter moves great. I quote what he told us in our forum:

Funny how its all english accents, It hasnt even entered service yet with the RAF. I believe its in the final evaluation stages. videos a bit james bondish to hollywood. an SU-34 (no such thing as an SU-35) would not have been as easy a kill even for that. The EF2000 is a nifty little aircraft. In talking to people whove played Euro Forces booster they say it handles like crap which amazes me the one in POE handles like a dream, thing will turn on a dime and give you change. were actually having problems finding another aircraft to balance it its just too good.

I posted this video in our clan forums to share what PunisherUK found. So its really funny how POE modders can get s*** right but DICE can't. How sad

I thought it was rubbish but listen to Colony it owns MIG's especially on Op Smoke Screen.

It is a bugger to shoot down in the right hands it can out turn most a2a whilst the MIG is dead once the tone goes solid.

They must have made it then decided to nuke the speed otherwise it would have been way overpowered. Would have been nice if the two air maps were Chinese then they could have kept the speed, that would have been good.

If you fly a MIG and up against a good pilot keep checking your back every second and throw everything into outrunning it. It's cannons are dire though, too wobbly.

The F-22 does more than come close, it surpases it; just ask the Brits. The British Defence Evaluation and Research Agency did some comparisons of modern fighters and how they would perform against the same adversary, namely what they expected to see from the Russians, the Su-35. They ranked each plane based on its odds to win a fight against the Su-35. The Eurofighter came out at 4.5:1 odds, while the F-22 Raptor was expected to have 10.1:1 odds. In other words, one Eurofighter would be lost for every 4.5 Su-35's downed, compared to the F-22 downing 10.1 Su-35's for every Raptor lost.

One thing the Euro's figured out early in their designs was the use of canards. Canards are the small winglets near the front of the aircraft. These stablize the flow of air over the wings and control surfaces resulting in a more responsive airframe.

Of course us Americans turned around and built forward flight thrust vectoring and fly-by-wire systems that allow the same performance with slightly lower drag, but the canards are a good solution thats a little more resiliant.
