you're seriuosly late then.

They've already done that. BF2 .01 was released in June 2005. We are now up to .1. Soon, we may have a beta version of the game to play.

Stupid EA Games.
I paid for the game then download the EAD-downloader and I get CORE X.
It seems I have to use IE6 and not IE7beta.
WTF I want to play the game not browse the internet. Only resolution is to go back to IE6. But it didn’t say any thing about which browser I had to use to play Euro Forces when I bought it. I don’t even see why this is any issue? Another thing IE7beta works flawlessly unlike this downloader and they expect me to change something on my computer that works well to play a game. Once again I curse EA games. My steam works though :)

BTW EA Games you took my money with IE7beta

It blows my mind how many people are having problems with the downloader and installing ef itself -- ITS A PIECE OF CAKE! what the hell is wrong with you people

we all know PCs never go wrong,
do they?

We all know Windows never has bugs,
does it?

We all know viruses and spyware never cause problems,
do they?

Come on guys,
there are many reasons for things to go wrong.

Sure,
it could be un-skilled users,
but it could also be other issues.

Why are people so RUDE here?
Isn't this game about having fun with friends?

So many agressive and rude people go out of their way to make enemies by insulting people, without really knowing what the issues are.

How about trying to HELP people who have issues?
Do you have any friends at all, Z?

Those who are having PC issues, might try some of these standard tips:
* Update Windows (under Help and Support)
* Update Java runtime (from Sun)
* Update VBR runtime (from MS)
* Update drivers
* System File Check (command "sfc /scannow")
* Update/Reinstall IE 6 or FF 1.07
* Clean your startup list (Start/run MSCONFIG, Startup tab)
* Check viruses (AVG free is good on a budget)
* Check spyware (I suggest great program HitmanPro - it runs the best 6 FREE anti-spyware with 1 click - highly recommended.)

I can d/l it fine. Just the install thats screwing up for me. I'm getting a catastrpohic error message.

Yeah I downloaded fine too. This is what happened to me. I installed it but when I did the green progress bar got to the 1st notch and then in a split second it said it was done. I didnt get to choose a directory nor did any short cuts pop up. It wasn't even on my system at all. But, It swears up and down that it is. When I tried to play a map it said I need to buy and install EURFORC which I did do. So what gives EA? You take my money and give me a Lemon.

Man, I cant even login to the damn downloader to have all these problems you guys got. I can get as far as this, but there's no Login button to click to make it go further. Anybody solve this one yet?

i've never seen so many children playing a war game before. or, should i expect this? why do so many of you people expect others to back down from a fight. they feel cheated from their hard earned money and all you can do is slam them? i dont even know where to start with you lazy a55es. there are 2 american ways, taking the bull by the balls or letting the bull take you and accepting it.

If they had spent even a day testing this they would have found all of these problems. There is absolutey no way they tested this thing or these problems would have been found.

Hence. Yes the fact that this downloader is so prone to errors IS EA FAULT
