We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Problem is at some point you're going to have to come down off those walls if you are planning on capping flags. At that point you're going to need a vehicle to get to the outlying flags.
Not necessarily. My squad successfully capped the ne point outside the wall many times by simply 'chuting off the wall and taking the short run over there. There's enough hiding spots to spread out and deal with any lurking armor with AT or c4, plus the TOW. Additionally your snipers and AT guys remaining on the wall can cover you.

I don't really mind all the armor. I play AT so it gives me plenty to shoot at. I just wish everything wasn't so spread out. It's all the time spent travelling between points that annoys me. I think Great Wall would also be alot more interesting with grappling hooks & ziplines.
I only played to maps of it last night, the great wall, and quarry. Quarry seemed very armor heavy. I was in a tank column with 2 other tanks and a AAV, and we were doing pretty well. Kept running into enemy armored columns. That map was OK i guess. A lot of driving, and you can't get across the water. At least, I didn't check for boats, and don't know if it has APC's (only played map 1 time).
The great wall map was cool. I agree, grappling hooks and zip lines would rock on this map. I can see where this map will be a fan favorite, because it has no air vehicles.
conclusion, euro forces has failed,
I realy don't understand it, they said two booster packs, one infantry wich is euro forces, and one vehicle based, beeing armored fury.
If the comunity asks for more infantry based maps, when the infantry based maps are played the most, when the most popular map (karkand) is the only map on half of the servers, why do they make something completely opposite ?
result : about 75 % of the people who purchased EF aren't happy with it .
I just want to tell everyone I told you so!.
All the disappointment remarks people are making after playing Euroforce, i had stated on this forum long before its release.
I agree with all your statements. Instead of introducing more of what people love, they decided to introduce something not popular in BF2. There is a reason why people left Joint Operations to play BF2 and that reason is of the likes to Euroforce.
In your opinion. Everyone I have talked to in game say they love EF, like I do.
Well it caters to a specific type of BF2 player so that's understandable. If you love vehicles and don't care for ground pounding then this is a great addon for you.

in most people there opinion, also in game, you hare many cmplaints, question rise : do you guys enjoy this ? , most aswer , no, I am out after this round, .....
Give it some time guys, once people start to learn the maps a bit, things will change. I don't care one way or another if you love it or hate it, but at least give it a week to try out.
Snap decisions based on 1 day of play where everyone is just trying to figure out where the enemy flags are, are in my opinion un-educated decisions. Wait till you get a bit of teamwork going and stay and defend some choke points then come back and tell me how you feel.... maybe then I will take you seriously.

I think there's a good chance I will warm up to Great Wall after a little more play time. It has some of the elements I look for in a map. The other 2 maps are just not my thing and that is unlikely to change.
I like the new maps, nice change of pace. Better than playing the same old maps for the millionth time. Give it time and see what you think after you learn the maps. Can't really make a educated decision after one or two rounds.
Overall I think it was worth my $10. That is two visits to Starbucks
good note. $10. so be it. i got 3 new maps for bf2 for my $10. cool deal. i'd pay $3.33/map from here on out no problems at all.
i've always thought mappers get a raw deal. imagine EA downloader supporting custom mappers this way somehow. obviously testing and ranking concerns abound, but still... what if!!!!? :)
I dont particularly mind paying for it but when you consider free content in other games for months of work. This seems like about 6 weeks of work to me and no playtesting.
