I got basic knife on my first try on this map...it's not just about sneaking up on the enemy, but about running into them as you turn corners. It works...

It would have to probably be on a big map though (ie 64 man) but a lot of people travel in squads so if they see one of their men go down and you're out in the open, you're history.

That sounds like a good idea. When I actually try to stab people I often end up getting killed because of it. But I'm getting better at it. :evil:
My buddy has knife expert badge. He simply predicts where enemies are going to be at and comes up behind them. At lot of Counter Strike players do that too. It's more strategy than anything else.
That being said, it seems to be a lot easier said than done, at least for me. But if you're into it enough, it can be done. Happy hunting!!!
Nice tactic - always great to find a good knife tactic. Never thought of using gas though.
Pistol and knife servers are great also no matter what these "big gun" noobs say about it. Reminds me of some old RVS pistols. And there aint nothing wrong with playing it ranked either. It's just like people playing SF ranked to get away from the jets so they can actually play for more than 45 seconds at a time.
