There is an option for SWITCH so if you cannot pay by debit why have they put switch as one of the payment methods

You will not get your card cancelled for entering incorrect details i.e. guessing the start date all that will happen is the transaction will not go through.

There are two versions of Switch cards, one has an issue number and one doesnt, not having one i assume the version with the issue number doesnt have a start date on it? I have no issue number which ive found can be an issue on certain sites since the 'my bank....' couldnt be bothered to tell anyone. I love how banks keep things simple.

i have switch with no issue number BUT a start date and whoever said to work out startdate is same month as expiry date month thats not always the case mines different and i havent had a replacement card or anything, i tried entering just the start date - didnt work, tried entering issue which was 1 (but not on card) and start date - still didnt work so just used click&buy instead! at least that click&buy option is there, could be worse ..

I'm getting this exactly same problem, my switch/maestro card, that so happens to work with EVERYTHING i purchase online, isn't working

Ahh, thank god for Click and Buy, worked pretty seemlessly. I just get so tired of typing my details into forms on websites, I seem to be doing it all the blooming time. Ah well, panic over, downloading now :)

Yer i used click and buy in the end and it worked fine. EA just need to take the options down if they're not supported. All is good now though, EF downloaded and ready.
