Is it just me or do support/medics play with their volume off?

I agree with the "other side" posts.

I've been medic or supply and had to chase guys who were injured across the entire map to heal/resupply them. Most times they die before I can catch up to them. And when they die it's usually because they ran into a LOT of enemy troops, putting me right in the middle of them.

And (speaking from the other side as well) it seems to me that people don't pay enough attention to their health bars. I'll see a guy very low on health and hold out my medic bag and chase after him. I KNOW THEY SEE ME cause they turn around and look, then turn back and keep running away only to get killed by the first shot they take.

Of course that gets me another revive... but if they would have just waited for 2 seconds.... they wouldn't die with one shot.

I stopped chasing guys to help them. I will throw a med pack towards them and then go on my way.

9 times out of 10, if I chase them, I end up getting killed.

Last night I had to run after a medic asking for health. He didn't turn around so I had to start shooting my M95 around him to make him look around.

          unun,
Use your pistol. You won't get a team damage and it will still get your point across.

How about a counterpoint here? I have been trying to improve my teamwork score, so I have been playing support and medic more often.

What? You can't find a medic in your squad when you need him?

Thats probably because he spawned on his squad leader, who happens to be driving an ACP, to the uncapturable airfield to the north, away from the thick of the main battles! Happened to me twice the other night.

              LA.

                I play both med/sup.

I drop as much as I can but I don't have a problem with people coming up to me to get med bags.. However being a Medic who used to be support.. The low low amount of ammo you get and no support guys around or there are and nobody's giving anything..

I do shoot cause people ignore the Need Ammo call, I kill them trade kits dump ammo and get med bag to revive them.

I would really like to get all the people complaining about this in 1 server and play.. it would be interesting to see the "good Teamwork" from this thread.

And since I am rarely in this game for the points. Then I can give a crap less if I get -4 for killing a moron for not helping the team.. Its called...

"Taking one for the team Buddy... Good Job."

OMG too true. I hate joining a squad, spawning on the leader only to find him sniping from some rooftop with the rest of the squad scattered at 3 different flags.

I saw the funniest thing last night. Myself and one other guy had been in a firefight and evidently he had also been wounded and called for a medic. I saw that one of the guys we killed was a medic, so I took that kit and healed myself. I get up the ladder and look at him and HE'S a MEDIC!! What a moron!! Healed him and ran off because if I go down, there's no way he'll save me at ALL!

I usually play support and I forever run around giving ammo. It's funny to see a guy in the prone position and you throw an ammo pack at his body and he flinches like it was a rock he got hit with. I jump into tanks and apc's so they will be rearmed along with the people in them. Seems I spend all my time trying to help others that I don't get too many shots in myself.
