Hello everybody

i live in Switzerland (tiny lil country in the heart of europe...ya know the land of chocolate and so on *gg*
i have bought the BF2 EF box 2 weeks ago and i wasnt able to download...and its still like this *grfyxgrgrgrgr*
went to the support site and asked my question "what the **** is going on here??!?" the answer was like...yes, in germany the game is out and they could download and play it but...its NOT OUT IN SWITZERLAND?!?! how is this possible? i guess its absolutely the same file like in germany..means the german version of EF?

Ok, it seems some countries can get away with selecting a different country in the menu. For example: Slovenia works as Finland. While others are getting errors such as Iceland.

I am getting all this information to the downloader team. We'll see what we can do.

Obviously, we never want to block any country from our services. Commerce is just a touchy thing it seems. I'll keep y'all posted with what I hear back about this.

I'm not aware of any limitation to other countries. Some are not listed, but selecting one that uses your same language should still work. For example, New Zealand could select Australia.

If anyone can confirm for me that they are blocked at some point from purchase due to their country, please post your country and what point you are blocked.

I see sales in the system for countries not listed such as Canada and New Zealand for example. So it seems to me it works.

In Canada, I have a Canadian credit card and billing address, on the Edit Billing information I submit the page and it posts back to the same page i was just on, i lose half the info entered and no feedback message is shown.

I simply cannot purchase it with my credit card.

Hey Shawn, thank you for checking things out for me and probably many others on the country issue. I know that the loyal BF42/BF2 community here in Iceland feels left out and disrespected by EA when all of Western Europe and North America can download this boosterpack. People here see no reason why we should be left out. If you are not able to answer can you please point me to someone that can explain this stragity to me so I can explain to the local BF2 community. But I hope this is something that can be fixed so people can stop being angry at EA about this issue. I guess you understand that this matters to us as long time EA customers.

It seems that EA does not care about litle countries like Iceland... I bet they dont know were it is... Shame on EA.. Shawn is there anything that you will do for us who want to be able to buy online like anybody else here.. or is this

They want to make money, and they would get only a few thousand dollars at the most from Iceland so.... why would they bother...

i had the same prob as you and i use the other way to pay and now i am downloading.Try it.
