If it took your dad 6 months to build and troubleshoot a PC then he is the most unprofessional computer "professional" ive ever heard of.

Its not hard at all.

Well it wasnt just a computer, it was server.

Anyway, i think building a computer is definately worth it, you can add in all the features you want, then buy some tricked out PC box and make it look really cool. I built a computer once and i put neon all over it. It looked so awesome :)
