Do you folks forget that they threw in WAKE ISLAND 2007 for FREE?

I don't remember paying for that map.....and you don't HAVE to buy Euro Force to get the P90 or the L96A1 Sniper rifle...didn't pay for those...did you?

Bottom line...if you want it..buy it. If you don't want it...then don't.

you clowns that hold up STEAM as the model...how short your memories are. STEAM had HUGE problems in the beginning of its launch. Including dropped connections, failed logins, purchases that didnt go through, ect ect ect

why all of you want something for FREE all the time is beyond me. Im all for discounts and some 'goodies' being added, but christ in a handbasket, did your parents all teach you that your ENTITLED to entertainment? Do you really belive that the world OWES you something?

grow the hell up, NOBODY is forcing you to do anything, but maybe some of you should be...

I dont recall getting "Road To Rome" or "Secret Weapons of WWII" for FREE. I had to pay for them, just like SF, just like I'll buy the 2 booster packs.

If you don't like the idea, then exercise your right not to buy them. But to imply they were 'free' in the '42 days is stupid.... Nothing was free then, and I wouldn't expect many freebies now. Adding to the original content, even on a pay-for-play basis, adds to the longevity of the game, something I desire. Continual dev support is critical in the long-term success of the game.

Do not buy it when you have multiple accounts on one computer: You can only change your GameSpy ID (which verifies if you have bought euro forces) 3 times a week!

EA: why don't you make it infinite?

Oh my god thanks for showing me the light. I'm not convinced that I will not give the life-leeching EA another cent for the BF2 series! Oh salvation is here I am saved from the horrors of not getting everything free. Thank you, oh thank you mighty poster for the tremendous advice.

I agree..dont give EA anymore money for a already screwed up game.. fix the regular game first then we will see about purchasing more packs!! They seem to spend more time on these packs then fixing the original game.. the 42 days they would add a few maps and things in game for free with a patch.. what happened with this idea??

Why pay for something that used to be free back in the '42 days? Don't take EA's bait! Just take a look at Epic and how well they serve their customers. They regularly create FREE content packs for their Unreal Tournament games.
When was the last time Vanilla BF2 got some new content? And I don't mean Special Forces (I have bought that too and it was a buggy farce)!

Euro Forces cost $10 or 10 Euros.
Armored Fury will also cost this.
When you buy both it will cost you 20 Euro for 6 new maps and some new weapons.

On play.com Unreal Tournament 2007 will cost 28.99 Euro.

Got in from work , loaded euroforce for the first time and MAN its sweet. the euro weapons and maps are very nicely done .... when i first spawned I had to smile as i watched some teammates leave the spawn in 4 tanks and 1 apc kicking up dirt and leaving a dusty trail. i was like DAM this booster pack is packing some serious ass kicking potential! just seeing so much armor move kinda in formation I was like wow this booster may be good! as the battle unfolded it actually looked like a battlefield. think numerous tanks apcs , guns and choppers blasting all over the map, was sweet! heh IM GOING BACK IN! , SF sucked big time , this booster may redeem it!

Registered just to reply to this, probably would've just ignored it if it weren't from a mod.

Something obvious like tie it to the CD key instead of Gamespy ID perhaps? It seems silly to let you have multiple accounts on one CD key but then not let you use the booster packs on it when that's exactly how vanilla and the SF expansion work.
