Don't Buy Euro Forces

Why pay for something that used to be free back in the '42 days? Don't take EA's bait! Just take a look at Epic and how well they serve their customers. They regularly create FREE content packs for their Unreal Tournament games.
When was the last time Vanilla BF2 got some new content? And I don't mean Special Forces (I have bought that too and it was a buggy farce)!

Euro Forces cost $10 or 10 Euros.
Armored Fury will also cost this.
When you buy both it will cost you 20 Euro for 6 new maps and some new weapons.

On play.com Unreal Tournament 2007 will cost 28.99 Euro.

What do you prefer?

Non of the add on packs were ever free, plus UT07 is £19.99 mate.

UT2004 Megapack is definately free.

UT2004 Megapack is definately free.

That was a whole different game, the BF1942 add on packs you had to pay for. Plus EA's add on packs add extras other then maps. Which take more coding, which also adds to the costs.

I download and play loads of dogey games with out paying. But when I like something as good as this I pay, coz I Think it worth it!!!!!!!

too bad Unreal is sci fi crap which is why I dont play it.

He does make a point tho they did give away more vanilla maps with each new patch. Aberdeen, Coral Sea and that other map I dont think i played much :) They should give us more free maps for vanilla.

I am still not sure why I hear so many complaints about 10 bucks. I am not made of money but come on...I think its just the kids that cant get mommy to pay with their credit cards for them that hate it the most. I pay more than that in toll money every week...

I bought EF, but I'm really getting upset with the different security features.

Ok, bf2 and sf I can only install to one account on an xp box at a time---which is ludicrous. The game is installed, only one person at the computer can play it at a time anyways, it needs to work for any account logged in locally, PERIOD.

Now with EF, not only is it limited to that one account, it is also limited to one gamespy account?

I'm all for digital distribution and related licensing, but there is clearly a good way to handle it(Valve's STEAM) and a wrong way(EA).
