I think that most people on these forums don't even really know what stat padding is. It means using cheap tactics or cheats to gain points. If you are playing medic and gaining points through giving medic bags, reviving team mates or killing the enemy, you are not a stat padder. If you are playing the game to win, and help your team mates and happen to get a high score in the process, that is not stat padding. If you are a medic working with a group of friends and do knife, revive, knive, revive, wash, rinse, repeat, then you are a stat padder.

If there were no stats, no one would give a crap about Karkand.

I like Karkland because its fun to play. I probably play it 1/3 of the time, with my other two maps being wake and sharqi pennensula.

My best is Sharqi being either Assualt or medic.

Last night I jumped in a tank on Sharqi as Mec. I own in tanks. I fancied upping my score... So I drove to the first flag and started capping it. A Squad of 4 players comes to defend the flag.. I kept killing all but one quite deliberately so that one would revive the others.. lol.. I got loads of kills and points all due to a greedy medic.

When I got bored I killed all of them and capped the flag. If they had just died and respawned as AT they might have got me.

I'm surprised that they weren't howling at you for being a spawncamping armor whore I see so many threads where people complain about armor dominating a spawn, but they don't bother to respawn as AT and take the tank out. There are posts suggesting a game change to have a spawn invunerability window, which I think would be crap.

Yeah I don't see why this is so tough for people to understand. It's not rocket science. You could say someone is a stat whore if they play nothing but medic and just try to get the most points by any means necessary (reviving under enemy fire knowing the guy will likely die anyhow then reviving him again) but that is not the same thing as stat padding which as you mentioned involves some form of collusion or cheating.

Oh and in regards to the original question, my fav is AT kit on any urban map with Warlord and Ghost Town being my personal favs.

Sure I don't get as many points as I would playing medic but there is something very satisfying about taking on the tank whores with your little AT rocket and coming out on top time after time.

If I want stats, I play Mass Destruction or Sharqi. People like Karkand because there's no air and plenty of infantry combat. It's only recently it's turned into a claymore spamfest with people shooting the PKM down the spawnpoint alleys.

And last I checked, the main objective of this game is to kill the other team as much as possible, so how the hell is killing a lot of them stat padding?

Easy kills? That's gotta be Wake 64 with my L96A1, I consistenly get about 25-30 kills(excluding clays, nades and pistol/knife kills) with that thing and I'm almost always the best sniper of the round. Did I say they were easy and effortless kills?

the best map for getting points on would be strike of karkand =). just run around and blast people or if u have good strats use them =)

statpadding is when other kids like you get together and knife, revive, knife, revive etc etc
giving lots of ammo bags etc and reviving teammates IS helping ur team...statpadding is NOT helping ur team...

Excuse me?? What did i say?? How about reading my whole post before you start insulting me.

And just for the record, YES I KNOW WHAT STAT PADDING IS. So stop spamming that i dont - I just beleive the medic on karkand IS stat padding as they just dont help the team with EVERYTHING OTHER THAN REVIVING. They kill themselves trying to get to that last revive.

There could be a vacant flag right next to them but they would jump in a car and travel the other direction to get to a revive - THAT is what i beleive is ALSO stat padding. Helping the team is attacking the enemy, capping flags and following their squad mates. NOT going on a revive frenzy.
