erm..yes i do. And yes i do call the pkm on karkand stat padding. Just the same as medic on karkand. I call anything that does nothing but give you a big ass score, stat padding.

If it aint for the team, then they shouldnt be in the server. But of course that is just my opinion.

So basically you wish that medics where not allowed in karkand? It has got to be one of the if not the best urban map and last time i checked.....thats where medics come in handy:)

statpadding is when other kids like you get together and knife, revive, knife, revive etc etc
giving lots of ammo bags etc and reviving teammates IS helping ur team...statpadding is NOT helping ur team...

If there were no stats, no one would give a crap about Karkand. I don't get what the big deal about stats is. It sure has helped keep people interested in the game as EA planned. I would think you would play a game to have fun, right? Stats show a false sense of achievement anyway.

Are there people who like Karkand for stats? Yes. But you make quite a generalization. I could give a **** less about stats (and have the stats to prove it) and love Karkand and the other city maps (vanilla and SF). Groundpounders tend to like Karkand because they don't get raped by planes or attack choppers. It is a map that is entirely their show. I played a couple of rounds there last night and saw just a handful of medics. Sure there were some PKM'ers, but every map has that now.

Engineer on Karkand, Sharqi or Ghost Town.

TBH I like all the urban maps - Mashtuur, Sharqi and even Karkand. All classes are very viable and you get quick, intense gameplay as opposed to driving crosscountry on Zatar or Dragon Valley.

Mashtuur is probably the map I'm the most skilled at. I can just take flag after flag on it.

I used to love Karkand and Sharqi for killing I but am loving Dragon Valley and Surge lately. I have found these to be great engineer maps.

SpecOps on Sharqi. May not sound like a points dream, but I play specops 90% of the time and am almost always in the top 10 on the team on a 64 player server. Just works for me.

Much to alot of people's distress. I get the UbErNeSS high points as medic and support (medic=major revives and heals plus awesome G36E, and support=ultimate killing machine) mainly on karkand sharqi and mashtuur.

Karakand's nice, but going Assault, moving from flag to flag on Sharqi Peninsula is #1 for me...lots of fun, great squad/teamplay map.
