never seen this b4..

I was playing on the "Tactical Squad" server (iam not sure if that is correct). FuShe pass started, and right off the bat, a few people tk'd for a plane/heli. About 2 seconds after that occured, PAUSED appeared in the middle of the screen. The Admin asked who just tkd? And then banned like two people. has any1 ever seen an admin pause a game before?

Didnt know they could pause a server!! Thats awesome if they did!

Admins can pause a server? Holy crap that's both underused and ripe for abuse.

I thought it was pretty cool. I guess he/she may have paused it to make their point, which they did.

the pause command is designed for matches. ie someone drops during a match you can togglepause while they reconnect, unfortunatly nobody can type or talk during the pause period in game so it is rather usless and very rarely gets used. it was not designed to be used with public games in mind

I was playing ranked when admin paused.

the pause command is designed for matches. ie someone drops during a match you can togglepause while they reconnect, unfortunatly nobody can type or talk during the pause period in game so it is rather usless and very rarely gets used. it was not designed to be used with public games in mind

I though i was getting the "problem with your connection" error, because I was not able to do anything.

yes it can be used on a ranked server but doesnt really serve any purpose. It was meant for private matches

Yes one of the admins of my own clan has done that before. I think it's good feature, especially for sorting out a few things.

It obviously does serve a puspose.
An admin can underline his/her decision by pausing the server and making an example of the smacktard/noob in question. Its like actually backing up those rules they have on startup.
