What's the point in punishing your own team for a teamkill? I can see it if they guy is killing you over and over, but to punish immediately after without waiting to see if the guy appologizes is just plain rediculous.
This is one feature that needs to be taken out of the game. Seems like the page up key is the only key some of these people know how to use.
What are your thoughts on this?

As frustrated I may feel when I get killed by my own, I only punish if I don't hear an apology.

I give them 5-10 seconds to say sorry. If not, PAGE DOWN.

The entire punish system should be removed and replaced by an uncontrolable honor system like the one AA has.

That way TKrs get reduced honor and acidental TKs are easily made up for.

There is a glitch when friendly fire is off when it comes to mines. Twice now I have placed mines and gotten tk's from them. I dropped some mines knowing they couldn't hurt my teammates and one of my teammates ran over them knowing they wouldn't hurt him but we both got a surprise. Other team members were rolling over them all game so I know it wasn't just my mistake in thinking friendly mine fire was on. Anyway, he punishes me a second later and when I asked him why he said because "he didn't know what happened." So now I'm getting punished by noobs when CLEARLY it was NOT my fault for the tk.

Just be aware that mines can be more of a surprise to you and your team than to the enemy. :)

lol yep ive had the same surprise a few times and been punished for it some people are just angry and dumb and must hit that p-down key, thankfully i mostly play in a sever with punishing off and good admins so i dont have to deal many fools

Im still getting players just run into the side of my jeep. Even if I try to slow down, or avoid them, or actually stop. They seem to wait until I move and then BAM, they sprint across the road and I tk them by mistake.

Dont these people realise they can hold down the enter vehicle key if they wish to get in?

Or are some just running into me deliberately to ruin my score? I sometimes wonder.

I was playing Anti-tank and had an enemy jeep targeted. It was a good distance away when I took the shot. As Im guiding my missle in, a friendly jeep comes rushing in right before my shot would have hit the enemy. I had absolutely no time to pull up and try to avoid him. Well I end up killing him instead, and before I can say Sorry to him, he punished me. It was that quick.
Just have a hard time understanding the mentality of some these players is all.

what ea should do is change the tk punish prompt to a tk forgive prompt without telling anyone. then all the pgup happy morons will instantly forgive,while people who think about wether it was the persons fault or not will act accordingly
