not enough people know about it so i still close the distance especially against tankers who prefer to remain stationary and go for the one shot kill - its surgically effective :)
and best of all its a sensible exploit because the tanks weakest area aside from the underbelly is that exact area, DICE getting things right by accident - wonders never cease :laugh:

The true one shot kill is a ricochet. 2 hits in one shot causing instant death.

The bit under the turret in line with the barrel is not enough to destroy in one hit, unless they are 1/3rd damaged already,

lol i'm well aware of how it works - what my point was that the area under the turret that causes the richochet ingame is in real life the most vulnerable part of the tank - thus my a happy exploit of the ingame physics the game replicates reality quite nicely

not to mention actually getting the kill with it requires skill and is a gamble at times because a miss means minimal damage or even a harmless bounce off the armour

I did the 1 hit shot a few weeks ago, wasn't suppose to be i did it. As usual got called a hack.

I usually always lose on 1 on 1s tho unless i get the first shot, great tips tho.

i always use the smokescreen RIGHT after i fire, and start driving backwards while i reload

Smoke is vital to survival. Learn how to drive backwards without looking and it is a skill that will serve you well! Also, make sure you have a good commander that can spot the tank first so you're on offense, not on defense. The one who gets the first shot in will win heads up unless you put the shots in a bad location.
