I got kicked recently for using a helo to defend my airstrip as Commander on Kubra.

I was playing as engineer, and had laid all my mines. Suddenly a sapper in armor shows up in my base, and I had no way to take him out. I wasn't going to sit there like a useless tit and watch him blow my stuff up and then likely steal one of my air units, so I used an idle cobra that was sitting there beside the hanger to smoke him, and then hovered over the sat trailer to repair it.

Next thing I know, I'm looking at the kick message:

2nd-Irish has been kicked for the following reason: "Commanders Don't Fly"

Well I had no intention to leave my base and attack anything else, but I guess the rules are the rules. Luckily I got back in before the round was out, but I was unable to re-apply to the commander position as someone else had taken it after I was tossed. A little annoying because we were winning decisively and I was looking at a great score too.

I got banned for saying i had a 1000 dollar hack but I got back in he didnt know how to ban :P

off topic: Taking the 30 minutes to read this thread was entertain like watcing Napolean Dynomite is. Its saddly pathetic yet I couldn't turn away. Even as I could feel the IQ points being sucked out of my skull.

In this thread I have seen tool after tool admit to being kicked from knife and pistol servers. I have even seen one get upset because he couldn't stat pad on his favorite server anymore because he was banned.

I have been told to get a life because I like to play BF2 with my kids. Lets see, I need to get a life, I guess the house, the cars, and succesful famlily and great paying job don't count as a life. Do I get life points for going to college or spending time in the military? How about doing more with my "not a life" than he most likely will with his "life"?


Ok Back to topic:
Everyone is going to get kicked from time to time. I have been kicked to make room for admin. But the dumbest was for "Just because". Yes the PB message said "Just Because". I don't know if it was the absudity of it all, but I had to laugh.

try getting kicked for saying "rofl" "rofl" consecutively after a player (probably the admin) got pwned by SOMEONE ELSE. i was just a witness.

the rofl wasn't even directed at him lol, at least you couldn't tell from the console.....

yes, west coast RAW server, you're still the lamest server out there
followed closely by team wonderful's 64player server that serve 16 player maps

The stupidest thing I've gotten kicked for was killing my whole team about 5 times. Go figure...

Well that is pretty stupid...

I have only intentionally killed my entire squad once on AA. It was a new server to me, and this clan I happened to get assigned with was tk'ing me for fun.

So I stood in the doorway of the spawn room, pulled a grenade, a let it cook off in my hand. AA is the best for that because you can't get away, and you see and hear the spoon pop so you know what your in for before it goes. And then they have to spend the next ten minutes ghost cursing until the round ends. :)

While waiting for a F-15 to spawn, the admin walks up to me and knifes me, then takes the jet which spawns two seconds later. I punish...

I got kicked for bombing the aircraft carrier in Wake Island 2007 on a Raging Rebels server. They seriously suck.

Just imagine you were in the USMC team in the carrier and get owned by the artillery every minute. That would be really irritating and annoying. Its just cheap, why not artillery on the small island in wake island. The carrier is an uncappable base. I tried artillery on the carrier and someone kept taunting me on the microphone.
