Im not looking to get this server shut down or anything like that. I just think I need a second opinion on what happened. I will replace names and server names with "Joe Blow" and "ServerXXX". The first post is what I made on their forums.

This incident happened on 2/10/06 at 2:11am on the server ServerXXX-. Plz check the logs and youll see that everything Im saying is correct.
I have tried forever to get the Expert Explosive badge. 37 Explosive kills IAR is way too hard. Its allways been outta my reach as I could never master the C4 chucking. Ive allways put that badge with one of the ones Ill never get...like the Expert First Aid. I dont stat pad, cheat or hack...so its just badges Ill never see. Sure Ive tried to get them numerous times, but no luck. I knew the newest patch would limit the claymores from 5 to 2 the next day, so I decided to give it another shot. I had been playing for a few hours on yours and other servers without any luck....because, lets face it....it takes luck and alot of time to get that badge.
I was on your server playing Insurgent on Warlord. The map starts, I spawn Engineer and lay mines on the road. I get 3 kills with those. Following my next death, I spawn at the palace as sniper and begin laying claymores on the 3rd floor only. This is because I want the SAS to take the second floor as I will have the advantage. I ask for and get a supply drop on the outside balcony. I also advertise for a support to join my squad and lay ammo in the palace....I get that too. I get more than a few kills from SAS trying to take the 3rd floor in vain.....they eventually take the second floor.
So far, everything is going as well as it can be if youre going for an Explosives badge. I start laying claymores at all the spots....I have plenty of ammo. Between sniping down hallways and claymores and those 3 original mine kills, Im up to 46 kills with 80 tickets to go. I dont know how to keep track of how many explosive kills I had, but I am positive I was only 1 or 2 away from finally, after all those hours of trying, getting that stupid badge.
Then I get kicked.....the reason given on the screen was stat padding. I have never been so mad at this game as I was then. I knew it had to be some new admin who hadnt read EA's ROE. According to the ROE, I did nothing wrong at all. I came back on the server at 2:17 and asked what admin had kicked me. After 3 attempts, JOE BLOW tells me it was because of the claymores. At no time did I rage at him or cuss....god I wanted too. Within a minute, I was kicked again..............no clue why. Plz check the logs and youll see I never cussed or said a bad word to him.
Hey, I know that I cant change the past. But what if that had happened to any one of yall? Put yourself in my shoes. Would if you were going for some badge and a new admin who hadnt read the ROE did that too you. That stupid Expert Explosive badge is now a badge I just dont have the heart to go for now. If JOE BLOW responds to this, plz tell us how we should go about getting it. Its not against any EA ROE to go for a badge. Ive allways had fun with your server and never a complaint. This needs to be looked at and JOE BLOW's admin rights need to be pulled or he needs a spankin. If he can seriously show me what I did wrong thats against the ROE, Ill donate $200 to the ServerXXX Paypal account.

Well here goes one hour of time wasted explaining while i could have been trying to accumulate 10000 more pointsto beceom a butter bar.
So while we understand an appreciate your concern, after careful review, SeerverXXX management believes that JOE BLOW acted appropriately and within the guidelines of the EA ROE published in February of this year.The pertinent section to review is

When combined with the strict prohibition in the same section of chucking C4 from helicopters, it is clear that

but an attempt to earn a badge. This view is further enhanced when the enhancements in the recent patch are
taken into acount. One of the fixes that was included is a limit to the number of claymores a player can deploy
at any given time to 2. This change was made at the request of players who belived that deploying a mine that
can not be defused or destroyed in a manner that ensure that they must be stepped on, is a violation of the
intent of game play.
JOE BLOW is an experienced, valuable, and rational member of our Administrative staff. He would not have taken
disciplinary action that was not warranted, either in booting or banning players. As an organizational philosophy,
we do not take these actions lightly - with banning being a last resort. If JOE BLOW says that you were behaving
inappropraitely after being kicked, then our opinion is that this is the case, particularly when other Admins were
present on the server. This opinion is bolstered by your admission that you were in violation of section 1.8 of
the EA ROE.
Not only have you demonstrated that your willingness to stat pad, but you have also demonstrated that your
comprehenision of the contents of the ROE are invalid, or you are hoping that others do not carefully read them,
so that you can attempt to manipulate them. Even if it were determined that you were not in violation of Section
1.8, section by EA/DICE Seciotn 3.0 gives us the right to supplement the ROE with our own rules.

manufacturues that must be changed or altered in order to enhance the game playing pleasure.
The 5 claymore set glitch/bug or whatever you would like to call it has been duely noted in every BF2
forum known around while at the same time EA / DICE had noted that it would be fixed in the upcoming
1.21 patch because it gave a specific kit and unfair advantage.
It should also be noted that it is not our fault that EA & DICE have set some extremly hard and impossible
awards/badges that cannot be achieved by ordinary means and to have achieved those badges/awards
means that you have had to exploit the game and the scoring system in some unordinary way in order
to achieve those.
With all that being said JOE BLOW made the right call to kick you from the server the first time. And it was
determined by others present on the server that your repeated stated opinion in chat text that you "being kicked
was inappropiate and unjustified" would have had led to nothing more than a text chat battle. A battle of who
who knew more about the ROE handed down to us. Not only do we pay $225 a month for the server that
over 8000 players have played on for free..we are also charged with policing it and charged with enforcing
the ROE if not it will result inhave our Ranked Status BANNED.
I can not tell you how many times a day that I see "THIS SERVER SUCKS" whether in game or while
reviewing the chat logs. Bad mouthing the server and what not.. I let them ramble and after a while with no
reponse as I cannot do anything about it because they have not broken one of the ROE. We have to sit
back and take it in the chops.
We hope that malice will not be found or detected between you and our organization, or vice versa in any
Forum, e-mail or private message.
Your complaint will be posted in its unedited form in our Complaints Portion of our forum which will be created
tomorrow.

Can they supplement the ROE and say that people cannot go for the Expert Explosive Badge on their server.
