When will you retire from BF2?

I plan retiring when I reach First Sergeant and I get my Distinguished Service Ribbon.

I'm starting to get bored with this game. The game becomes pretty repetitive after awhile and I can't see myself playing untill I reach Sergeant Major, so whats the point :hmm:

I will quit when it gets boring. Who knows when that will be, but I still enjoy it and see the booster packs as a way to bring more excitement back into it for me. I also have SF, but have only played it for like an hour. So I still have that to mess with.

Ghost Recon 3: Advanced Warfighter looks pretty nice too. As far as retirement from the game, I am just waiting around to see what the mods look like. I think the BF2 engine is great, but I think the mods coming out will be BETTER than bf2 itself. I sure as hell ain't paying for any damn booster packs....

I think with the games in this genre i will never get enough. I'm really busy and i dont take it too serious but its the ONLY game i play at the moment.
Have like everything from f.e.a.r. to cod2 etc etc. But none of them seem to intrest me... looking forward to Ghost recon advanced warrior.

I thought of how long it took me to get to First Sergeant and saw that I had to more than double my points to get Sergeant Major. I thought, god i'm never going to get there, so I only played BF2 once in a while. Now that once in a while has got me to almost 40,000 points, so I might as well push on to get to Sergeant Major before quitting ...

I pretty much already have retired. RIght now, the games i play are America's Army on PC, Ace Combat 5 on Playstation 2, and CoD on XBOX360 (borrowed from friend.)

I need 84 points to get to 50000 ang Sgt Mgr, thought that would be it but still into playing. Setting my new goal to Cptn and call it a day.
