These are a couple of screenies taken later this evening. I don't what causes it or how to cure it or whether my computer has been infected with a patch, i don't know. Anyway anybody suffer anything similar it happens out of the blue and my computer is running fine?

The tides just high thats all man, sometimes happens, im pretty sure Wake Island is in its Typhoon season.

Yeah that would put the icing on the cake, getting my stats wiped after taking since august to get 20000 points. I'm not bad i'm just very patient in the field.

That is your video card card causing that. Re-install your video card drivers & then the game and you should be good. Also is your card running hot?

The first thing you should do is make sure it's happening repeatedly/constantly before you take any drastic steps.

I go this exact same issue once under 1.2. I quit, shut down BF2, re-launched, and everything was fine.

Like Vengence already said it could be your video card. What version drivers u using?
Also it could be your PSU not being able to supply enough power to that card. Do you know what make and model PSU you got?

I've had this twice, it's an interesting little bug. Someone find out how to replicate it so DICE either has to fix it or deal with people seeing through terrain. :p
