So, to all you pilots who try your hardest to keep the skies frindly for the ground pounders, hats off to you.
if the teammates spots some tank or the commander gives me an ordr to attack a flag than I'm always ready to help... but mostly my teamates including the commander doesint give a **** when I ask them to spot some armor so until you dont support the pilots they wont support you thats it !!

The biggest support to give to your team is to do something that doesn't give you points, e.g. see your chopper headed in a direction and take the stinger site out, manned or not.

Note: Before you complain, I'm not bragging at all. This is just my strategy. I always join a squad with my wingman and communicate via VOIP. If/when friendlies spot armor or choppers that's my first target.

I don't know what's wrong with your game, but somehow when I get in the first US jet on wake, we probably win 7-8 out of 10 times. I don't do anything that I consider special. Who cares if it's cheap it wins the game.

        1. Get a fast PC, and get in a jet before there are even 2 people spawned on the other team.
        2. Strafe airfield take out chopper and jet.
        3. Turn around and run by the north(?) tip of the island where everyone spawns and takes the armor.
        4. Blow up(not just kill the guy in it) that AA so they can't hit our choppers.
        5. Vulcan any jeeps or tanks, but don't worry about bombing the tank unless you need to, your team's cobra will be there soon.
        6. Run back to the airfield and take out anything taking off, specifically jets. If you have the choice of getting 2 kills against their chopper or one kill taking out the jet, GET THE JET.
        7. Hang around for their next jet to spawn and take it out.
        8. Return to carrier going past that side of the island and repeat earlier steps, while still keeping a fast pace at the carrier.
        9. Afterburners blazing reload ammo
        10. Return straight to their airfield taking out the jet that probably just spawned 2 seconds ago.
        11. Repeat. 1-10

I usually strafe the airfield 3 times before reloading. Maybe more. Most of the time I reload and get back there before they have taken off, but usually it's occupied and moving when I arrive. If by your mistake somehow they get airbourne, take them out A2A combat is a joke now.

Sure, it's camping, but I only get half of my kills on the airfield, the rest are idiots in AA.

Every time I goto the carrier I run past that end of the island. It escapes me at the moment whether it's north or south, but it's the most populated end.

If effect, I've completely aquired the air to myself and team. I've kept people out of their AA, therefore keeping my choppers safe. Then I leave it up to my team to capture flags, and most of the time it gets done. There are those rare cases when your entire team is on the carrier.

          Re: Air superiority

The problem with hunting enemy aircraft is that most servers have a lame ass "no base rape" rule, so once you shoot them both down, they will be right back up in the air 40 seconds later. It's kind of a waste of time.
