thats actually the best way to get it, on a fresh account. once you get over 300 losses it becomes really difficult.

Totally jealous! I want mine, I have almost 14000 CMDR Points and my expert CMDR badge, I really want mine, but lately I have been getting stuck with teams full of assbags. So I may never get it.

LOL join the club. I have near 17600 CMR points and a 1.35 ratio that bleeds everytime I join a game to see a loss scoreboard.

OK Autobalance 0 servers don't necessarily mean that its turned off. Our server has autobalance 0 but we use smart balance instead.

The only way you get this war college ribbon is by cheating, which the poster has even admitted to whilst trying to justify it in someway. Saying you only switched to the winning team "sometimes" That is like saying I only stat padded sometimes just to get a knife badge or pistol badge but I didn't stat pad for anything else.

Please this is nothing more than a stat padders, how to thread, I can't possibly see how you can be proud of this and think others should say "wow congrats"

Well I have to admit, it is easier to get the WCR when your a low rank than a high rank because as you start out, you get lots of wins, can you could easily get 3:1 W/L:R easily if you teamswitch a lot but I guess there is no other way to actually get a 3:1 WLR unless your team happens to be all uber pro

I have two comments for the OP.

#1 If you think you earned that ribbon while team switching to get it you're wrong.

#2 Circumventing the system design to earn something and admitting to it only makes those of us who work for our rewards look bad when we get them because only cheaters have them. Thanks a bunch.

I'm over 300 hours and pushing toward that ribbon myself, but doing it that hard way. I don't switch teams... period. If I lose, I lose. That way, when and if I ever get it, I earned it.

It really bugs me that people brag about something while admitting they cheated to get it.

to me - that is a coveted ribbon
means fighting hard for team wins, not personal stats
of course it easier to do with fewer matches
as you did, but congrats none the less
our server is locked
cannot switch mid game
so we are doing the HARD way

Well, all I know is I had to make a sacrifice to go for this ribbon. I had a character that had all badges, and all ribbons except for WCR (the name this forum post is named after).

Calling what I did stat padding is just silly. Stat padders are people like |NERV|Raxor who threw 6000 grapples in one day to get his expert in it, or people who get in a group of 3 and kill, revive, kill, revive, supply, over and over. Joining the winning side when joining a game is not stat padding. Who wouldn't want to do that?

If I held out 2 hands, palm out. One had a penny in it, the other had a $100 bill, and offered both to you, which would you take? You'd take the $100, duh! Its the same with joining a game in progress. Who wants to join the losing side?

But, who cares. Only about 15% of my wins came that way. I explained how I got the other 85%.
