I have an X800 GTO (pretty much the same as an X800 PRO i think) and noticed a small drop in performance with 1.2.. hopefully 1.21 will rectify this.

n00b question - how do you get the frames per second figures when running BF2?

Did this fix address the issue regarding older ATI cards?? We lost a clanmember after patch 1.2, where he had an older 9550 and couldn't play anymore after the patch....

Patch v1.2 caused the invisible building problem for me, but I've been playing v1.2 for a good week or so now because of fixes submitted for the problem.

Cool, maybe I can finally play with my settings maxed now. I was getting freakishly horrid stuttering when PCOs came into view.

You have the same setup as me :) and I haven't updated yet, so this is good news for me... AMD Athlon 64 3400+/Radeon X800 Pro FTW

I had a solid performance gain with 1.2, and now with 1.21 I have horrible frames, and this terrible stuttering.

I rolled back to 1.2 and the problem has dissappeared. One thing is clear, these programmers don't know what the heck they are doing. :|:

Most notable when I would get strafed by a jet, the game would completely stop for 5 seconds or more.

next they have to fix the issues in game that we ATI peeps are experience like me, course our FPS is raise a bit and its smoother yet we get problems still

I have always ran the game on full with my setup, and it runs fine.

(Athlon 64 3400+/X800 Pro/1 Gig of RAM)

Hit the ` key to bring up the console and type renderer.drawfps 1.

After 1.2 patch- unplayable- buildings disappeared, I was frozen
after 1.2.1- I'm back in business D

Mine did until patch 1.2.

1.21 rectified that though.
