How high up in altitude should you go? Do you ever run into problems with the jets attacking you at that altitude?

I had a squad on kubra dam, say in bold letters JOIN ALPHA FOR HIGH ALLTITUDE DROPS OVER ENEMY BASE. I joined and had so much fun dropping from so high up, I even got a clymore kill from the sky( i dropped it while parachuting:)

I play a lot of wake island and have found that 250-300 on the altitude gauge will make you pretty much invincible to anything from the ground. When on the ground I do try and get my fighter friends to shoot the enemy black hawk but it's 50/50 whether they'll actually do it but they at least know the guy is there.

I believe the height limit of the choppers is 600m, and what ya'll are talking about is called a Guided HALO. Yes, EXTREMLY useful, cause there is no chopper in danger and then out of nowhere BAM 6 Devil Dog's land on your doorstep as little Haji is adjusting himself.
