Because on wake there is always a silly amount of smurfs sniping and we all know how easy it is to knife a sniper, however 1st they have to get out of thier uncappables and get a flag and we all know that wake is the best map for baseraping with a jet.

Chances are you will have to wait a long time before the knifing can begin

i just got to where i am eligible for my vet knife badge. cat seem to get it though. bout as hard as it was to get the legion of merit badge and as hard as the good conduct medal which i cant seem to get.

Hunting down snipers takes way too long becuase they can be so spread out and you might be killed by them or someone else by the time you get there.

On karkand, everyone is crammed into a little area and there are plenty of areas with only very short lines of sight. . . lots of alleyways. . . which minimizes one of the a major advantage of guns. So easy to pop around a corner or off a roof top and knife someone before they even know what hit them.

I almost got my basic pistol and knife in one round in Karkand on my first try. the only reason I didn't make it is because I didn't join the round right at the begining. Even missing out on half of the craziness of the initial hotel battle didn't stop me from getting it.
