Yep, mine runs pretty choppy @ 60fps recording (very difficult to aim)

If I raise the FPS, is that what makes it smoother? Or lowering FPS?

If you raise the FPS on FRAPS it will make the video smoother, taking MORE processing power. If you lower the FPS it will make the video a little more choppy, but will be taking less pictures (Frames per second) thus lightening the load a bit.

I know, but IN-GAME, low FPS in Fraps, will cause, better performance but worse quality.. right?

correct.

by the way, I never played around with it much... but you can benchmark FRAPS. Go to their FAQ and read-up. Might be worth your while.

OK, I just figured it out...

I set it to 100 fps, and it isn't lagging ONE bit. Perfect. My processor can handle it.

I recorded a 4:02 clip, and it was ~1.7GB... not TOO bad..... an average round lasts.... what... 20 or so minutes....

So thats like 8.5 GB for a round....lol

Is there a way I would be able to compress that down low enough to put on like.... putfile.... or youtube... or something?

Ya, get the windows media encoder. It will change the .avi's to .mpeg's and turn a gig file into a 5 meg file. If you need help using it you can pm me.

Or you can use Windows Moviemaker (already on your XP- START menu), process the video, work it out and then encode it.
