I'm pretty sure you can only get crew ribbons in a helicopter.

i got mine in Gulf while being the copilot in the two seater jet of the MECS...honest:)

This topic made me check my stats for driver special ability points and for reference I checked out some of the guys in the top 10. To my suprise they didn't have anymore than 2,000 points whilst I have 7,209.

How many driver special ability points do you have?

A fully loaded APC or BH should sufice, i did it in an APC on Dragon Valley but after, i was flying the BH fully loaded on Mashtuur and was clocking up a wicked driver abillity assist score, go for that way i would!
