Anyone else use foot controls ?

I just didn't have enough keys on my Nostromo N52 (fantastic gamers controller - I use it on my left thigh, mouse on right thigh, in my comfy chair :-)

I looked into things like Dance Dance Revolution, or musicians foot pedals, or foot controls made for PCs (all way over $100.)

So I used a USB keyboard on the floor, removed most of the keys , and use my feet to give me 3 extra keys -

left foot = spacebar = jump

right foot = Ins/0 = PTT squad
right foot = Enter = PTT commander

I can play without using or looking at my main KB - works great, cost me $5 :-)

How many keys do you use??

i use a 5 button mouse and a normal keyboard and i have more than enough!

I use analog pedals setup as a joystick axis, works very well.

Indeed - a standard keyboard has plenty.
But I don't use a standard keyboard,
I like to use a N52 on my lap (N52 on left thigh, mouse on right.)

That way I can play without ever looking at the keyboard - all buttons are right under my fingers in my easy chair.

The N52 is excellent product - great for gamers, but B2 has such a lot of keys (N52 has 14 +1 +1 +1wheel +4/8 way hat)

I have enough on the kb... never have to look down, I know where everything is.

my friend once used foot controls for metal gear solid 2 and snake eater...it made the game CRAZY fun...we used dance dance revolution foot controls for movement, and the rest of the ps2 controller.

I used to use a joystick rig from thrustmaster that had pedals. I think they have a really nice one called the cougar out now that features them.

Car racing gamers might have some gas pedal /brake set. Great for exercise for some1 who BF2 all night long.

That just seems way too crazy to me. I use a crappy keyboard and a crappy optical mouse and I do just fine.

the mx500 is an 8 key mouse, try it.

well it might not be bad to have pedals and steering wheel for driving around and running people over.....hmmm... i might just try it..... sorta like GTA meets BF2
