I don't think the MP7 was nerfed. I used it prior to this latest patch, and it seems the same(if not better)as it was before. Single shot from Medium/Long range works aswell as it ever did. I could be wrong, but the gun feels the same to me.

No kidding! Hey Revolution, the guy has only 18 posts, so give him a break. It's not like you haven't posted up a question or two that meant nothing to most everyone, but people still tried to help you out.

to save me writing any more threads about stuff you people have already discussed 10 times, and i know this is a lot more 'personal preference' than anything else, but basically i like to run head on at the enemy and try to take out as many as possible, dont get me wrong i will be sensible and try to heal and reload if i survive an encounter but if there are 5 of the enemy and i see them i will run straight at them, so although i might take 1 or 2 with me i still die but i like playing that way, anyway bottom line is - between the 'scar' the 'last medic unlock' the 'f2000' and the 'pkm' (which ive just got and have never really used support before it because it wassn't like it is now) which do you all think would suit my style best?

Grenades, and you don't need to unlock them which is cool :p

Since you already have the PKM, I would unlock the G36E which is the Last Medic Unlock. IMO, the G36 series of weapons are the best in the game. Though, the F2000 might be your best bet since you get the stun grenades with it, which is very cool, then all you have to do is Grenade Launch the lot of them then move on.

It was definitely nerfed. They cut the damage from 24 to 19 and also reduced the accuracy. It's pretty much the same as the AT SMGs now. More ammo than China/USA but not as much as MEC.

Actually it has the EF weapons too. Another good weapon comparison resource is the chart here: http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56385 .

Exactly. Still, it gives the engineer some range, and is much easier to aim than a pistol, especially if you haven't been...err..."practicing" with the pistole. Hence, the MP7 could prove useful in long, rolling maps (i.e. Armored Fury), if you ever have to bail out of the tank. As an engineer, I'd much rather be able to put a few rounds down range with an SMG than with a shotty/pistole while I hide and wait for a medic or another ride.

Edit: Plus, the sound and "feel" of the MP7 rock.
