I love getting knife kills, knifing whenever I can. When I see someone prone next to me, I usually dive on the ground and stab. Someone unaware of my presence? I take out the knife. It's damn satysfying, especially knifing in the face XD. I had a few encounters, where the guy goes prone and starts firing his weapon at me, and I dive prone next to him and stab.

Shame the knife is less accurate after the patch. Sometimes I have to stab 2-3 times when the victim is motionless, prone. Winning knife fights, with everyone strafing and running around, is a matter of luck IMHO; sometimes you're touching, stab, nothing happens, sometimes the enemy is 2 meters from you and you manage to knife him.

Yeah i have noticed this also, it really sucks now, sometimes it takes 2-4 times for it to hit.

To be honest, i don't think so.
I chased down an enemy assault on Op clean sweep, today, i chased him for about 200 yards, i could've stopped at anytime whipped out the trusty g36c and just tap-tapped his ass, killing him before he had chance to turn round, but instead i followed him, knife in hand.
There wasn't much in it, i'd say i was just gaining on him (helped of course by me leaning towards the screen). When he did that stupid thing people do in battlefield, and stopped dead out in the open, he was just having a look around, (luckily facing away from me) probably weighing up his options or coming up with a plan.
That gave me chance to catch up and drive my helldagger into his back, (there's no honour here) i stood over him (toyed with the idea of humping but didn't think he'd understand) dropped a nade and ran off.
Happy days

i like when you they chase you, and you run backwards and knife them in the face, and that dust puffs into the air right as you get them in the face, thats satisfying, then you (pre-patch) prone spam on their body

I like a good kill streak with a pistol. It's especially nice when you kill 2 with the pistol, and the enemy thinks you've switched from primary due to reload/empty...then BAM...shotty comes out last...surprise! Now if there was only an "oh sh1t" animation that made the enemy's eyes get really wide when they see the fully loaded primary come out. :shock:

I love the knife kills, they are so satisfying, especially like you said when you chase someone for ages over the whole map to knife them. Even more satisfying when the meet back up with their squad. I chased this one guy all over Sharqi, just as I caught up and was about to knife him he started running again. He was running back to his squad and when he got their he lay down, they were all lying down, I proceeded to knife the whole squad.

Yesterday on Zatar, I trumphed a guy thinking he was going to get an easy knife kill. I was prone capping a flag, turned around to see a guy running up with his knife out, I quickly switched to the shock paddles, he jumped, proned, then Clear zzzzzzzapp, I shock paddled him in the face and typed in to him "Shocking!" :laugh:

Ah, there be nothing more satisfying than hopping out of an APC when it's approaching an enemy point to capture- usually, all the enemies there will be focused on the tank and not much about what's behind them; so- I hop out before the APC gets there, and run around- knifing everyone who thinks that the APC is the only problem there.

Kind of like those illusion magic tricks- you think the biggest threat there is right there before your eyes, when the real threat is running around behind your back with a sharp pointy thing.

I find stealthy and tactical kills more satisfying than anything- I feels like de mighty ninja!

ha, i followed a MEC sniper (in karkand) all the way from our perm USMC base on the left side...all the way to the vehicle depot at the bottom of the map...then i decided to quit dicking around and knife him...i was literally no less than 15 feet behind him the whole way...he didn't look back once...

yer i dont think there is anything more satisfying them knifing a sniper in the back, hehe, and since the sniper population have gone up tons because of the new patch, more knifing for me :evil:

Heh heh, I once followed a US engineer from the TV station to the construction site on Sharqi... I couldn't kill him because he was sprinting all the way, and I was sprinting behind him with my knife - and I wasn't close enough to get him with the knife - but I did try a few times where I heard the 'Ka-chink!' of the knife, but not doing any damage; and whilst I was thinking of pulling out my pistol to slow him a little (get his attention or make him dive into prone), but then my kill was stolen by a medic somewhere in the distance behind us :'(.

I wish they made it so that you run a little bit faster (JUST a LITTLE) with a smaller weapon than your primary.

if I am too close to accuratley use a Rifle or am out of ammo I pull off and take a few potshots with the Beretta, I usually play Spec Forces so the Pistol is just as if not more stealthy than the darn Knife and even when I play as Medic-Support when I am close enough to use my Knife I've already blown my cover to the bots (!!!) so I don't have to worry about how much noise I make

FYI I only play the following anymore:
Medic - team supporting role used in defensive role (L85A1 Primary - G36E when SF works))
Special Forces - My swiss army knife of classes (G36C Primary)
Support - used for heavy anti-infantry offensive role (PKM Primary - MG36 when SF works)

RARELY EVER use, but I use it:
Sniper - VERY rarely, Super long range supporting fire (M95 Primary)

Never play anymore:
Anti-Tank - used to play all the time, C4 Traps led me away (MP5 Primary)
Engineer - NEVER EVER EVER played (Hatred of Shotguns)
Assault - Blah, only played this for one round of SP (GL sucks, offers nothing else)

I personally prefer c4 kills. Its like hitting someone witha giant baseball bat.
