I have the problem, being a sniper, is that you cant hear the person come up to you... ever. Theve got 50 punds a gear. YOu should hear Em!

I personally prefer c4 kills. Its like hitting someone witha giant baseball bat.
Um... we are kind of talking about knife-kills... and well, anything else in close-quarters combat with melee weapons (shock paddles being the exception).
So... C4? um... no. Not unless you like to suicide heaps, or are somehow able to whack someone with the C4 package 'like hitting someone with a giant baseball bat'.
Re: Knife kills... Is there anything more satisfying?
Most satisfying kill...probably the other day on Sharqi. Getting relatively close to my Master/First Sergeant. I decided, "hey, I've already got my basic pistol, I should try for my basic knife; it's an urban map afterall." Relied on Spots and UAV feeds to pick out unsuspecting victims; I followed a sniper for at least 100yds. losing him over hills and picking up the trail after cresting. The coup de grace was at the near end of the round (us 20-ish tickets, opponents ~100), I spot a sniper prone next to tree, as I'm running up hill he and some friends spot me and open fire. I'm taking fire from every direction, and with my last ounce of strength I reach the sniper's tree and make one last dramatic lunge...Basic & Veteran badges in one fell swoop! RIGHT ON!!!

Im talkin about runnin right in front of someone. so they see you, throwin down a c4 pack. They ll either shoot, run towards you or run away. This leaves three options: Being blown past your face at 50 mph, being shot straight up into the air, or being hrtled away from you like shot from a giant slingshot
Re: Knife kills... Is there anything more satisfying?
One time, I was Commander on a 16-player size Fushe Pass map as USMC. My team was already winning by over 80 tickets when I decided to apply for Commander, so that gave me time to experiment with other things. So, I did a scan, studied it, and waited for the scan to respawn. When it did, I scanned again and discovered that there was one enemy that hadn't moved at all. I zoomed in on him and found him laying down. I figured this was the enemy commander, so, I aimed my supply box and crushed him. This was pretty fun, so, I waited for him to spawn again....I did a scan, found one that wasn't moving, zoomed in, and again, spotted him prone, not moving. I again, dropped supplies on him. I did this on and off about 15 times that round. In the end, I was laughing so hard just thinking how pi**ed he must've been and just knowing how satisfied I was...because, if you're constantly being killed, you can't deploy any arty, supplies, or uav's yourself, so, their commander assets were rendered useless by his death streak.
Re: Knife kills... Is there anything more satisfying?
On Warlord a few weeks ago. Knife in hand, heading up the stairs to the TV station flag. Some poor MEC feels it while I'm on the stairs. As I get to the flag room, another spawns to the left of me. Knife still in hand, I run towards him. Somehow he don't see me and heads outside, to the flag. Expecting him to stop at the flag, to have a look about first, as I'm only a few feet behind with my knife ready to get the kill. But he don't, he keeps on running and jumps straight off the edge.
I follow, thinking that this is gonna turn into a right can N mouse game. Quickly press 9, and kill him by landing on his head.
After containing my laughter, I typed him how I killed him, in case he didn't work it out. So that was kinda more satisfying and surprising than knifing him.
Re: Knife kills... Is there anything more satisfying?

Bub, They're running very fast, are not wearing packs, are carrying only 5 clips worth of ammo and drop to the ground and get back up very easily. Theyre in combat, they shed there gear, its about 50 pounds.

the C4 alone on a Special Forces Class is 50 pounds on it's own and they are the second fastest unit in the game (next to Medic)
Re: Knife kills... Is there anything more satisfying?
Knife kills are sweet. But being a dedicated sniper, winning a CQB with an assault guy with your pistol is pretty sweet too! Knowing that you out moved him and every shot landed in his head.
