CS was also a mod for a game that didn't start out as a primarily MP game, making it innately better

That’s the thing at present I'm a bit disillusioned with the game I still enjoy it but with this sound bug with the guns its getting silly with patches that promise so much but fail so embarrassingly.:cry:

The Mods when done right offer a better game because they are well thought out and are done for the love of it. When someone comes up with a great idea its taken on rather than nah that would take too much time to do with the original developers.

The added depth looks stunning I mean there is a pic of a field with a scarecrow and buildings are not placed tactically there placed the way they would be placed in real life. Adding Barns and trees and tree lines all adds.

With every new patch, a little bit of the hope in me that says that DICE will work everything out dies.

The future of BF2 is in mods.
