Is it just me or is that POE2 Mod look so impressive, the maps look so well thought out and natural and not so artificial as in some of the original BF2 maps. I honestly think if you combine BF2, with POE2’s content and vision and the Reality mod that gives more accurate weapons you would probably have thee best FPS ever hands down.

Just a pity you can’t buy this kind of combination out of the box…
Everytime I read about poe’s mod on this site I just think WoW…

any of you played this mod yet?

Its not released to the public yet, though Im eagerly awaiting the release

But Im sure there are some POE2 devs on this forum who can give us war stories of there advanced poe2 experiences

I agree. This mod looks really excitting... just a matter of time I guess.

I don't know about putting bf2 together with it tho.. might destroy what ea/dice was looking for.

well isnt that a mod, you dont really need to combine poe with Bf2 since its a mod that stems off the bf2 engine

I think POE 2 looks great, so does Forgotten Hope 2. Hopefully one or both of them will take off once they are done. I don't see myself continuing playing BF2 if POE or FH have enough people playing them. Think about it, good games.. free... who cares about points... plus they will probably have "alternative ranking" system like PRMM.

Yeah! POE owns..
And the models and levels are looking way better then the ones EA are puking out.
Just total proof that EA is just a greedy, multi-million doller corperation
just trying to sqeez out every penny from the fans for pinching off a few steaming loafs......and a keycode.

So its still being done. thanks for that info, i have only just read what they post here. I remember using a mod in battlefield vet im sure it was poe and it had good maps that you could have great tank fights and apache heli's too.

Yeh, this mod looks impressive and promises to be the bf2 everyone were eager to buy when it wasn`t released yet.. But i hope it won`t be like DC: new guns, models, skins etc. but the same s*it gameplay. What im trying to say is that besides the new content i hope they also make changes to the gameplay itself. Like health, running speed and details like that.

one of the maps grabs me with open feilds and a wee town that would be fantastic to attack and defend rather than all this fighting all over the place.

there is even more building models and some look fantastic i miss things like the church in Bf1942 if you played it. you could go up into the tower ( fantastic) building you can go in just make it so much more better there is only a few you can go into in bf2
