Oh my. Those voices are so bad I consider them insulting. They don't even sound European. Or maybe they do. They sound like a terrible bastardization of a German Spaniard who smashed his head on a rock at the age of 5. As a European, I find it kind of disgraceful. I mean, they're like robots!

For dang sakes, couldn't they just have used a real language? There's French and German voices already in the game files, and British voices were already used in Special Forces. Just give us the choice of hearing one of those instead of those dang robots and I'd be happy, but NOooOooo, they instead go and do the really stupid trendy easy way out of things by using stupidly exaggerated non-existent accents speaking English.

You know you can find those sounds in your game even if you don't yet have Euro Force.

In the same area you'll find the French and German voices too, the ones that SHOULD have been used (in conjunction with the British voices in SF) to make the EU army. I hope they give us a choice between these. I'd like to be able to choose in the options whether I want to hear French, German, British English, or demented German-Spaniard (to satisfy those in the EU who aren't German, French, or British).


You know what would have been funny now that I look at my avatar? They should have had Charles Martinet (voice of Mario Bros.) do the voices for these guys. Then we'd have happy, cheery Italian troops. It would be exaggerated, but then again it can't be much worse than the voices already used. Imagine the commander: "Attack this location" becomes "'Ey, there's-a pizza overa here-a!" When you die they say "Mama Mia!"

Very badly stereotypical, but at least it's more pleasing to hear than an Arnold impersonator.
