There could have been lag/bug issues with this patch that may have had an effect. You may have been hit with 2 rockets, but not noticed the damage in time. I don't think anyone playing BF2 can claim to never miss taking damage. With so many animations/sounds missing, I would put my money on it being more than 1 AT rocket. My mates and I often hit a tank from 2 angles, and the rockets hit simulataniously at times.

It's different offline then it is online, you blow a tank in one shot from another tank offline but it won't work online. Sweet spot is where the turret and the body connects. Another sweet spot I heard was the commanders hatch, and the treads. I'll have to try it.

Tank to tank one-shot kills DO work online. I have done it many times. You just have to hit the flat part above the treads, so the missile bounces off and also hits the turret. It is like a very fast ricochet double hit.....

I'm pretty sure a TOW (mounted bazooka) can take out a tank in one shot in 1.2. I had that happen to me a few times. I have not seen an AT Round take out a tank in one shot though. Not even take it to the "on fire" stage.

I can do it with a TOW missile or tank but I don't think I've done it with a AT rocket yet. If I did, I didn't realize it and probably thought the tank was already injured.

Dude ignore those nubs. I was 7th place at a time for the AT kit (not anymore still have my 131 hrs though) this is impossible, the max you can do is a 2 shot to the back or treads and it just goes in flames and they get out. Some people may think so but usally two people hit it at same time and someone looks like a one shot kill. I can prove its impossible though.

If you are close enough and the turret is turned to the side vis a vis the front of the tank and you can hit it exactly between the turret and the body of the tank, sometimes 1 rocket will kill the tank.

Maybe it wasn't real, but the tank had just come from spawn, this happened once with 60+ hrs Anti-Tank!..

I say it's possible, but carn't prove it, ask the tank drivers, they know

hey that didn't come out too well, so I'll explain it

I fired the SPAW directly at the target, subtly put an exponential curve up then down apon the sweet spot, sweet, may never do it again, maybe I was dreaming and the Tank was 99.8%, who knows, its my story..

btw I am a vet bf1942 player, I've taken planes out via bazooka & a regular tank to plane whore

Impossible - Go to Secretsof battlefield.com and read their hi point totals for a tank - Its possible with a TOW on the ground and a tank can kill another with one shot, (They have video of it) but not 1 AT missle from a foot troop. Never seen it on a full health tank(Just cause its not smokeing doesent mean its not damaged)
