I am inclined to agree... would not want the tricks made impossible by future patches...

        But Yeah explain the "fastswitch"....
Yes, I've done the fast switch by hitting one of the F keys 1 or , but the helo spins out of control, duh....no pilot.

-go into an unpowered orbit when encountering an enemy troop formation.
-use the enviornment to your advantage, attack helis are highly suseptable to aa/50cal/jets, so pick your fights and use the enviornment to peekaboo your enemy.
-know where the enemy aa is, hit it just for good measure.
          -fly low, real low
-get a crew of two engineers and you dont need a supply crate, and you can also give repair support to assets and armor.
-theres two aiming reticles, one is the cross and the other is the two lines across the middle, get your targets between the two to line it up for your gunner, also lead moving targets like other helicopters, the key is making your gunner adjust as little as possible.
-here is the most important one, get a mic, and make the gunner on your squad, dont leave the airport without a squadie as a gunner, communication is essential to attack heli success.
-flare at will, but wait for a solid lock, and stay out off aa range, when you know an enemy jet is on your tail, do a hard turn, no special aerobatics, just a hard turn.
In your opinion. I've used it to take flags, if I am a gunner, I hop out and help out. I use whatever I can to capture a flag, even a black hawk. It all depends on the enemy around you. A captured flag is another spawn point, what more greater support is than that.

Actually it is not spinning "out of control" it is spinning.........

Lead, switch, fire, switch....... rinse and repeat..... "No pilot" = "no Lock"

Patch wise all the AA change can be dealt with tried and true "real world" tactics..........The only big bummer is the reduced TV range......

I do it but I would rather have a good gunner... having a good gunner I would only RTB to re-arm TV... i never fire rockets with a good gunner otehr than to mark a target.....

Wow. I did not know that. It makes since that you can not lock on it since the engine would not be running.....no heat:laugh:

Oh no! not our precious tricks! I would hate to have them take my secrets away!

Come on. The best pilots out there continually figure out new ways to attack and defend. If you can't find your enemy's weaknesses from the chopper, you belong on the ground.

none, especially if you die before its capped, and armor romes free.

Roger Smith is absolutely correct. Capping a flag in an attack chopper is the wrong thing to do. If the enemy is at all competent you'll die before the flag is half up. Your priority list to neutralize should be this:

                    1. Enemy air to ground
                    2. Enemy attack choppers
                    3. Enemy armor/transport choppers
                    4. Large concentrations of infantry

If you're doing it right you won't have time for 4 unless the enemy team is pinned down to a base or two with no resources.
