Tank in BF2 is pretty unreal,
Especially the duel (or dog fight) between tanks

basically, 2 tanks meet each another, each fire one round against each another,
and stare @ each another for another 4-5 seconds before the reload is completed, and boom, another shot, and this continues until one side is lost...

Which is SOOOO unreal and stupid!!!!

for those who can do 1 hit and 2 hit kills, you won't be staring.

This is all about tactics.. When you're infantry, and meet another infantry, do you just sit there trying to shoot eachother? No, you try to stay behind cover and pop some shots his way.

Same thing with tanks.. Fire a shell towards the enemy, and roll back into cover before he has time to shoot back. Or keep moving, circle him, try to time his shots so that you start moving right when he's about to fire.

If the map is very elevated you can also try to get below his turret range.

Oh, and go for the weak spots! A tank to tank battle can be decided with everything from 1 to 6 shots depending on where your shells hit.

It's all about tactics! Only two morons will sit there still, exchanging one shot at a time.

More tanks, but make sure there are no planes on the map. I can see a line of 8 tanks all being blown-up by a couple of jets over and over again !

Well i'd assume there'd be some anti-air. But, I'd find a sandstorm map with tank on tank combat. Where the only way you know where anything is beyond 50 meters is by radar.

The rear column will be consist of 2-3 AA, that will make the team invincible
