Full Tank on Tank Warfare!

Don't you guys wish that EA released a new map that could just pit the USMC Tanks against the MEC Tanks in a flat desert plain with control points all over...that would just be splendid. Maybe 1 attack fighter for each side would balance it out.

I would love to see that kind of map...kinda like the Abderdeen of BF2. Right now BF2 has too many urban maps...

I think you definatly have a point there it would so easily add a dif0ferent style of game play, and wouldnt even be hard to create, iam all for it but not completely flat you need a few lumps and bumps and maybe a shack here or there for no aparent reason, just to hide your tank behind and stuff

Armored fury might be for you then, it won't be in the desert, but it should focus on bigger tank battles.

Tank in BF2 is pretty unreal,
Especially the duel (or dog fight) between tanks

basically, 2 tanks meet each another, each fire one round against each another,
and stare @ each another for another 4-5 seconds before the reload is completed, and boom, another shot, and this continues until one side is lost...

Which is SOOOO unreal and stupid!!!!

I'd love ta see a full mixed armour map like this. Tanks, APCs, and mobile AA (to counter the couple choppers thrown into the mix for spice).

Large, flat(ish) and open, or rolling hills.
Mabe something with lots of bridges to make for tactical choke points.

I'm hoping this is what we're gonna see in Armoured Furry. Oh... and A-10s. Nice.

Hehe... well picture it. 8 tanks per side, 4 APCs, 2 mobile AAs. Each side also gets an attack chopper and a transport. Fairly open terrain so tanks can trade shots at long range, while choppers try to sneak into position and AA batteries watch the sky.

Hell, if I thought the engine could handle it, I'd say ramp those armour numbers up!
