What bothered me even more was seeing this stupid F@CKING name thrown around 2 days after the release of the demo, yes 2 EFFING DAYS! It was so utterly stupid to me, that anyone would have the lack of sense to call someone a "nOOB" 2 official days after the release of the demo when in fact we would all be "newbies" to BattleField2.

At this point my disgust is so severe i wish death upon those whom use the term in a disrespectful, ill thought manner. There are no words for how useless and hollow the term has become.

I in effect would tend to agree those who spew this childish term, are in fact the "noobs".

You are owning them by waiting for them and killing them and you're not giving chance to kill you, the noob are the ones that call you noob. When someone call you a noob or a hax is because you kill them and they are mad at you. it happens, and if it is an admin that tell you that they always kick or ban.

Correct. Few days ago I was kicked with explanation "kicking.... you killed me 4 times". Than when I rejoined and started expressing my frustation, he banned me.

He also called me a noob the other day too.

I went ape $hit. But I couldn't do much about it as my mouse had broke hours before and I was using some 1995 Microsoft, two button mouse that was the size of a brick. Painful? Yes it frigging was! Within half an hour I had pain that resulted in my hand taking an unusual position for the rest of the day.

Noob, improper spelling of newbie, short(?) for new guy.
It's expanded to mean basicly anyone who doesn't have a clue what they are doing.

Lately, the meaning has been lost and it's basicly just swapped for "idiot".
