Doesnt mean the calling is justified. Im using an element of the game that was designed to be used like that. This is not an exploit... well... uhm... it is actually. Im exploiting the enemies lack of cautiosness.

Well the best one was when someone TK-d me for a plane and when taking of he typed "n00b" to me...and crashed in a tree on the end of the runway .

Thats happend to me too after waiting something like 10 mins for a plane and countless times of it been stolen from under me, right at the last second.

I put new twists on the so called "1337" Speak everyday.And, what's even more hilarious is it mocks said individuals for their idiotic choice of words and they don't even know about it.

Basically its a form of frustration mroe than anything and I usually just ignore it :laugh:

Some of the twists I make on these are...

Oh Em Gee = OMG (Stupid I know but read above)
uu tee effe! = WTF!
Nubb, nuub', newb, boon = well it's obvious :)

It's quite comical... Even more so is the guy , like it was said earlier that has no clue how to fly but does it anyway and carpet bombs his own flags when the radar doesn't show a blip of an enemy and kills 4-5 of his teammates.

Or the idiot that punishes for his own stupidity...

Use big words to berate them in game and they usually have a great retort like "Noob" , then you know what you are dealing with rolleyes:

I consider it an honor if someone berates me for killing them so often. Sort of says I am better than him because I know I don't use cheap tricks etc to play the game

I'm assuming that tends to happen with German players more than others?

OMGWTF H4XOR!?!?!?!? is more international, although obviously limited to the under 12's...

BF2 is that kind of game, some days you'll have a purple patch and run around like Rambo. Other days you can't hit a thing, die every 6 seconds and end up with a purple heart.

All terms on the net lose their real meaning after they become popular and all the idiots start using them over and over.

n00b in the traditional sense means new to whatever (usualy the game, or game genre) n00bs lack understanding of the game although don't always lack skill, you can be a decent gamer and still be a n00b in a game which you've never played before, you're still bound to act like a n00b if you don't understadn the full consequences of your actions.

Lately its used more and more as a direct insult, although it really shouldn't be, everyone is a n00b at some stage, it's just an unavoidable fact of gaming.

If you kill the same guy over and over again using a CHEAP tactic you might be considered a n00b because you're not skilled enough to claim kills fighting in a more respectable manner, kind of like the cheapness behind using the same move in streetfighter again and again which is unblockable.

Most people call out n00b in anger, it really should be ignored :)
