I was thinking about the posibility of getting points for shooting it down.
I also Know I quit trying to shoot at it... no other reason than tired of wasting all my ammo in the process.
While you dont get points (as of yet) You still gain a benefit of 'blinding' the commander and while not personally rewarding.. kind of helps your team.
I may be mistaken, but while playing iron gator, I was shooting at MEC UAV with the 50, and after a few hits it would blow. I couldnt be sure if was entirely me or not, as there could have been other people shooting at it as well.
However, as a compromise I'd accept removing the ability of the supply crates to repair them.
Supply crates are kind of needed, until there are more vehicles and more engineers, since going out on foot to repair one is a deathwish half the time.
That and if you've got the enemy base secured, them sending a supply crate is a GOOD thing, means you get to blast it again before it can recharge, and you get more C4 for the next asset.
As far as the UAV goes, I'd actually say it's less threatening since I know it's there and can take preventative measures like moving around (as opposed to waiting in ambush, when they're gonna ambush me)
Booze Monkey, no offense, but your spelling is horrible. I hope English was not your first language. Other than that, I agree with you on your post. The UAV does have a psychological effect after the patch.
Not to be a grammer nazi against the grammer nazi, but his spelling was just fine. I believe the word you were looking for is punctuation.
