Re: Idea to stop tking for jets
it takes ONE tk for a vehicle in our server
(with certainty- ie not an accident racing to get in
eg c4 or getting shot)
and that guy kets kicked from our server
if he does it again
we bann
this falls within the guideline if EA
(disruptive play)Leave a comment:

the "period" also known as the "full stop." learn it. :evil:Originally posted by belfastbloodan idea have the game made so when people join a server the game randomly selects people to be pilots so who ever has been seleted will have some sort of symbol to show they are pilots onley they will be able to fly so if ure not selected u know you cant fly so you will get on with trying to win the game and not standing around hopeing to jump in a jet
some kind of system is needed for the jets because there is noobs tking for them and people standing in front of them i like to fly but i rather get into a battle and kill instead of waiting on a jet were as 5 to 6 people are there already fighting over themLeave a comment:

Wargimp, does EA/Dice check for python scripts or does PunkBuster? I wouldn't think that something like that would be considered "malicious."Leave a comment:

Yes, they can tk you before you get in, and some will still blow up the jet with C4 and AT rockets.
But still, this can do nothing but help, and would be SOOO easy to implement.
I guarantee if this was implemented, the tking would go down alot.Leave a comment:

This is the best idea and it doesn't require dependency on a EA or Dice to get their head out of the rear. If someone shot's you before the vehicle spawns, well, there is nothing you can do about that with any of these suggestions. They can't take away TK's all together because that would change the game play all together. I have been guilty of ton's of TK's that were 100% accidental. I learn from them and in some cases, eliminated them all together. Server hosts should police their servers and not make EA or Dice do it because they tend to screw other things up when they do!Originally posted by WargimpIf ranked server hosts weren't such Nazies about running Python scripts, it could be made a moot point very easily. OnPlayerDeath, for TK, check if he was in a plane, check to see if the TKer was holding an M95. If all return true, boot the tard.
Done.Leave a comment:

Something I'd like to see in regards to those that decide to jump in front of planes that are rolling is that they would "bounce" off of the jet causing them to suicide with the message: "PlayerX is no more." This would stop the majority of smacktards that try this lame tactic.Leave a comment:

what if they tk u right before the jet respawns? equal chance? I don't think so. Again, this is just one example of how tkers will have their way. Im sure there are many ways to get a jet if one decided to tk for it.Leave a comment:

But thats not the problem.even if u eliminate tking for jets that way, they can still lie down in front of ur jet and make u tk while taking off
I have no problem running over 5 people that throw themselves in front of my jet.
I already told you why this would still help in my first post.Or they can put c4 on ur jet and detonate it when ur in mid-air. Tkers will be creative enough to find other ways to tk unless u disable team damage for good.
The reason why everyone uses the m95 intead of the AT rocket or c4 is because that way they get into the jet no matter what (if there are no other tkers around).
If they physically destroy the jet...they have equal chances to get it, because the jet has to respawn and so the guy in it has time to get back to it...Leave a comment:

lol i love how back in the demo u needed like 48 votes for mutiny on a commander...Originally posted by PHPTHow about they lower the kick/mutiny vote thresholds instead? :PLeave a comment:

Ummm...what? That made no sense....OR reverse the TK system for any events that occur ON the airfield. That way if someone runway blocks OR shoots you out of the jet/heli you have an option to send out a warning on public chat(if you are the pilot). That way people don't go on tking sprees driving over people on the runway and at the same time runway blockers can be taken care of because administrators know exactly when everything happens.
A public warning doesnt get tkers kicked...a public warning doesnt prevent tkers from knocking you out of your jet.Leave a comment:
