Despite loving the DAO to bits, I'd have to disagree. If you're good with the AK's, you present a significant match to the DAO - especially as you dont have to worry about eating through an entire clip, which is a frequent problem in those frantic close quater battles with the DAO.

I hear ya,but as soon as im empty i just change to the rocket and let one fly. 9 times outta 10 you can kill them before you run out of ammo, but i know what you mean buddy its a real pain having to reload that weapon mid battle.

Agree, however not so much if you are a MEC medic with AK, no armor so you better be quick to the draw

Lengthy video, but really illustrates how effective the DAO can be - you just have to keep on your toes while reloading the damn thing! Also, the guy in that vid is on Sharqi; my all time favourite map for pwning as anti-tank - lots of nice buildings to scale and pick tanks off from!

The bloke in that video also has a rig which puts mine to shame: all these crazy shadows and muzzle flares, gah.

Just out of curiousity, has anyone ever used all of their DAO ammo? I mean you get 12 in the gun and 59 more to reload and you don't waste any ammo by reloading like the rifles. Even if you emptied the gun before each reload, it would take over half a minute just to load all those shells. I would gladly trade about half my shells for a couple grenades (even if they were flash or smoke grenades)

Hm... know what? I hate what the new patch had done to the AT and vehicles. Light vehicles now take 2 rockets, and tanks almost take up to 4-5 AT rockets to kill.

Has anyone noticed that virtually no one plays as AT anymore? Unfortunately- the AT was already playing a pivotal support role before the patch, now they're playing a role as comic relief for every tank commander to fall over chuckling his ass off at the pathetic-ness of the AT missiles. I can also hear the enemy light-vehicles and APCs laugh their a55es off as they speed away - out-running the 2nd AT missile that's being reloaded and fired at them.

Other than that- the AT guy pretty much needs to have another class supporting them all the time- one that can withstand medium/long range combat. I do kind of like the AT's new P90, relatively accurate, and good for close range spraying- but at best, I use my pistol BEFORE using the primary gun.

SAVE THE AT GUY! PLEASE!

AAAAARRRGH!!! SAVE THE AT GUY!!! Every time I see someone faced off with at-guy, they go all ha-ha funny, and ignore him as if the AT guy was a really dull clown.

Has anyone ever noticed that Songhua stalemate is now impossible to play as infantry, ESPECIALLY AT?! Since the map is seemingly vehicle dominated, nothing has enough sufficient power to take down ALL those APCs and tanks other than another APC or Tank.
