I have played CS since the 1.3-1.4 days I think, but I prefer BF2. I think it gives everyone a little more equal playing field. There are alot of blatant hacks in CS, but the really bad ones are the casual ones that get toggled on an off when needed. I haven't seen any of that yet in BF2.

I like CS 1.6. CSS is a freaking rip-off...same gamewith better graphics...count me out. Anyway, i think BF2 is better than CS by a lot but i do like CS. WHile BF2 doesnt work I have been playing CS and DoD. Awesome games.

For me its the other way around, BF2 works but Steam is broke, it sucks really tech support hardly help their customers, been 6+ months since I could log in to my Steam account, still the same error...

For some reason i get popups in steam a lot but not just in steam...only in game. it sucks and sometiems it'll make my compputer usage go irreversably to 100% so i have to restart it.

It's not just hacks but also all that stupid scripting. It's ok to have a few buttons to buy a deagle and scout or whatever, but not a whole extra keyboard full of macros to play the game for you.

I don't know how anybody can call CS:S polished when they still haven't fixed the interpolation thing, a core part of the game.

Alot of scripts, for instance if you run around and have a script activated you just press the fire button and it auto crouches because of script etc.

Wait, so this is a serious poll? And Counter Strike has been around for longer than a year? Holy crap! It's a horrible horrible game. And so is COD2 multiplayer. WTf? BF2 is so very very better.

It all really depends what you're into.
CSS is all out action with short rounds
BF2 is teamwork, strategy etc

I enjoy both and play them probably a similar amount to the other.

Im a shizzle shot in BF2, in most FPS games infact and I can honestly without a doubt the only reason im so good is cos of how CSS forces you to be.

in CSS you have to be lightnin quick and accurate or your wasted, simple as. BF2 gives you a little more breathing space which is great as majority of players are used to that whereas im used to having to get em in quick an accurately so I tend to get more frags

Both are truly amazing games and its completely unfair to the developers to compare them as it isnt really apples for apples.

i have been in these forums for a while and everones like im taking a break from BF2 counter strike is so good. some of my friends have it so i went out and i bought myself a copy. IT sucks. compared to BF2. wow the graphics are week and the gameplay isnt as fun. Ill be sticking to BF

The hype around CS amazes me. The game completely bored me when I played it, what? 6 years ago? Zzzzzzz.

Congratulations, you gave the average response to someone not liking a game.

I find CS very boring and I have a really good reflex shot with sniping weapons like DEagle, scout, AK. The only reason I play it is for custom maps. The source engine allows a lot of creativity. Too bad CS:S is the core. People mindlessly played CS for so long so why change the game when you can make money off old ****?
