I have played CS for a long time, also CS S .

Graphic part, actualy I like the source engine better, it gives a more realistic impression, and my pc runs it better .

Gameplay, well, in CS you don't have all the vehicle features like in BF2 , it's another sort of game (bomb, hostage) , and one round, get killed, wait untill next round .

Also shooting someone in CS is way harder then in BF2 , but you do get headshots more easely , CS is also even more arcade then BF2 , nades won't kill you , you have a one shot kill sniper, it can be fun like hell , but I do think you can't compare those two games very easy because they are so diffirent

I got sick of CS's insanely long respawn times and quit playing it. SOF2 TDM was like the same thing at a much more frantic pace, BF2 blew it all up into a massive-scale game and made teamplay even better.

I'm afraid the ranking system is gonna be the death of BF2 in the end though. Why bother with a mod or even custom map, that doesn't increase your score!

The one good thing about CS:S is that it has a billion custom maps so each day you get bored of the game, there are 20 new maps to try the next day. With BF2, it's the same map over and over. After 3-4 months, they get a little old. The good thing about BF2 is that there's usually new stuff to try.

I like CS 1.6. CSS is a freaking rip-off...same gamewith better graphics...count me out. Anyway, i think BF2 is better than CS by a lot but i do like CS. WHile BF2 doesnt work I have been playing CS and DoD. Awesome games.

dod is an awesome game! except everytime i play it now, i find myself trying to spwn at other flags like in bf2, but in dod theres only 1 spawn place

BF2 + long range sniping + more maps - bugs - commander - stats = 1 of a kind.

Until all that happens, it's just going to be the best fps until a new fps comes out.

Two completely different games but I like them both.

BF2 is a much better concept IMO but it's so poorly coded it's almost a joke.

CSS is a cleaner game experience IMO, gameplay is alot faster and it's more polished than 90% of games out there.
Menusystem, loading times, game enviroment, balance.. everything is as it should be.

CounterStike is great for people that like to have no challenge while playing. Here's a good video of how CS looks from most players eyes.
