All i can see from this feature is that you want the ip logged at registration..... does this fill me with confidence?
It doesnt take much to realise that a forum/community should display its content freely in order that i can achieve a realistic memebers base and encourage new people to join even if they solely wish to post in a single topic.
Alternativly its a bandwidth thing, but its php based so that doesnt make sense overall.
Im stuck with the desperation to associate me with my ip and tough i dont go in for that until i know what im joining, im not saying it is but for all i know at this stage and from my pov it could be full of pedo pics at the end of day and the only way i can verify the integrity of this site is to directly associate myself with it- no chance.
If its truely in such a good cause you shouldnt have anything to hide.

Nice site, but I agree with the other guys, you shouldn't have to register just to read posts. It's a shame that anticheaters.com shut down.

No I didn't. I saw the barren forums and no possibility to see what kind of community it was and decided not to bother.

Some useful feedback has been given here... it would be wise to consiter it.

You could make the forums viewable without granting the right to post for unregistered people. Thus, they can't just randomly spam, but you've upped the usefullness of the site to the general public.

The dumbest forums are ones that you can't even SEE unless you register and get your account "passed" by an admin. The bf2 clans who do that are so stupid, especially when they ask for feedback/questions on their server message. And most of the time, your account never gets activated, so you can't even see the site.

I must have misread 'here' as 'there'. The reason I joined TBF2 is because I read some of the threads and decided that I wanted to contribute, and that that community here seemed to be better than that of PlanetBattlefield and BF2S forums. If they had locked me out I would never have joined, unless a friend of mine who was already a member said I should join.

Let me reiterate that I am not the one who decided to set it up. I am just a mod, not an admin.

The guy who runs 2leet2cheat is actually one of the guys who sorta "ran" anticheaters when the admin up-and-dissappeared. I am going to pass on your guys' suggestions to him, and he'll have to take it from there.

The forums aren't too incredibly active yet, the BHD forum is going nicely, but the BF2 one is quite lonely.
