The P-90

DICE really needs to consider an improvement on this weapon. Its much better in real life!

Having personally shot the ammuntion it uses, this gun is much more powerful than in Battlefield 2. Using it in-game is almost a joke at times!!!

IMHO, this weapon is not up to par!

At least increase the damage some so that it doesn't take 3/4 of your ammuntion just to kill someone.

its takes up 2/3 of a 50 round clip and i would say, that they really need to adjust it.

Well, you do have a huge clip and you have to keep it in balance with the other Anti-Tank weapons, so it doesn't become on par with assault rifles and the likes

I have been trying to give the P90 a chance...but I would almost rather use my pistol

Like most of the weapons (Except current Support) DICE has made this weapon WAY UNDER POWERED. I still think its dumb that I have to shoot a guy 4-5 times before he drops. (Chalk that up to the Arcade Crowd). The support class is much better now though. If you have played the PRMM mod then you know what I mean by BF2 Vanilla weapons having little power.

Every weapon featured in BF2 is more powerful IRL than in-game. That point aside, it is the popular belief that the P90 blows chunks in BF2.

P90 is basically an automatic pistol.

I don't mind that so much...the problem is that its fire rate is like 1/3rd of what it should be.

yes but guns arent changed just to have the same amount of disadvantages and advantages with other guns, eg sh*t damage because it has a big mag, look at the pkm!!, the p90 should be improved and since its tier 3 (?) it should be better than other at weapons , and pl should be proud to unlock it, rather than dissapointed

Umm, they are in BF2 :P

And the pkm isn't only good things in relation to the other support guns, the m249 SAW has double the clip and a much faster refire rate in return for some accuracy and damage. An m249 guy could seriously own a pkm guy depending on the situation.

Besides, EA said unlocks aren't supposed to be better, just different

the only chance you have is multiple headshots after 2/3 body for a quick kill

really does need work, tiny accuracy/damage tweek maybe

well when some of us got the free unlocks a few weeks ago, i clicked on one of the empty boxes and when the patch came out i found out that i had unlocked the P90, cool thinks i..... well ive used it a bit and lets just say id have rather had the new sniper lol
That aside i dont really like the p90 i mean ive made some good kills over 50-60 meters but im guessing they were hurt before i shot at them lol i just dont think this gun is as good as it should be ingame, i mean isnt the standard mp5 better??

I think ALL guns should be a bit more lethal. This way it will only take 1-3 shots for a kill rather than 4-5.
