I do get better fps with the X-Fi than with the Audigy2 ZS. But it sure is not 40%. I'd say about 20% increase in FPS over the Audigy2 ZS.

I'll test iron gator tonight, and will let you know about how my machine performs.

Yeah, we'd need to see screenshots with FPS posted (and not doctered with Photoshop ) of a scene like arty shell going off at a full Hotel control point on a 64 player server...or maybe inside the building at the Oil Cisterns at Daquing with a firefight going on...or a FAV with 3 people shown from 3rd person view driving through a full control point on Kubra Dam or something.

I like to keep my FPS over 50...sure it hovers around 100 most of the time when there is no action going on or when I'm flying a jet or chopper...but on the ground with lots of action and arty going off...FPS WILL drop. Deal with it. Admit it.

Nothing to admit here mate, and I don't need to deal with it either. I said it would drop down to a 75 or so. But not below.
With no action going on I get 100 fps straight.
Also I'll post screenshots, even though the ss function doesn't work at the moment, and while taking a screenie the fps will drop massively.
I also don't have to give account for anything. So if people don't believe me I'll to deal with that. Not much I can do.

But you know what? I'm a nice guy so I'm going to do you the favor and post some action screenies displaying renderer.drawfps 1 later tonight. :)

Did you read my complete post? I know my English is not the best, and it might be tiering for you native english fellas to read a foreigner's writing. But I did state that my fps do NOT go below 75. I NEVER stated I had a constant 100 fps during heavy action.
So much for the sarcasm...

He's right when saying that he's getting 100fps, but imo he's lying (bragging) about them being at 100 consistent.
I get around 80 -85 fps avg. under action and on 64player servers. Most important is that it never drops below 75. 1280x1024 4xAA

i probably get lower fps because my pc is not overclocked. I tried ocing the vid card before from stock 470/1200 to 500/1300. 3dmark went from 7860 to 8350 but i did not see any gain in bf2. Also i noticed that it took a little longer for bf2 to exit.
