yeh if you can get 10 headshots with 10 rounds everytime you reload,
lets see you hit 10 rounds and get 10 kills from 300m,now if it was a m95 i would hit 4 out of 5 well timed shots,and the new sniper rifle i would get 5 out of 5 hits,mabe a few headshots.

svd is better from 100-150max for decent chance of a headshot.
bolt action makes you more paticent in taking youre shots,thus being more accurate.

or lets use this.......
svd 10 rounds =3hit 1kill-

9 rounds 3 kills (all torso hits as a example) 1spare bullit

m95 5 rounds 2kills +1 shot left (leving 2 bars of hp)
add another 5 rounds to m95 2kills +shotleft+the spare from the other clip 1extra kill so thats 5 kills in 10 rounds from m95.

note that example was a possibilty if everyshot was not aim at the head,but hit in the torso.
so now you see why the m95 is better for killing power per 10 rounds.

for instance 5 rounds could be 5 kills from 95 with a fast whip of pistol.
giving a more realistic chance of getting 10 kills from 10 rounds,with out camping for ages so u get a headshot everytime.
im not saying its impossible to 10 for 10 with a svd just 1 in a million chance of it happing the m95 thery i wrote would happen more freqently than that. :)

Even though the m24 and l96 are statistically identical i prefer the l96 as it has a better scope and it makes a better sound.

Because in BF2, they both have sniper rifles with a range of 450m. The new breed of anti-tank & anti-material rifles.

i think you miss read what i meant,

i created this thread some time ago,and i added the poll with the sniper rifles in.

(i had the same thread prior to the l96a1)

i was just looking at some of my old threads and noticed my poll was messed up.

not that it bothers me,but maybe some chopper thread has a poll of sniper rifles or something :)
