    Battlefield Karkand Experts.

I've been reading in threads and found an interesting trend.

Most everyone I found who thought the Support guns or especially the Pkm were overpowered, played almost exclusively on Karkand.

Here they are playing on a flat map known for infantry bottlenecks.... Of course the support guns will rock in that situation!

Most of the patch complaints come from trends and behaviors on Karkand. You shouldn't be asking for sweeping game changes based upon your narrow experience of one map.

Now until you play Battlefield 2 (and it's sundry maps) and not Battlefield Karkand. You are not qualified to discuss kit balance.

What you'll find if you play the game (i.e. other maps), is that a lot of kits come into play and the balance is fine.

yes, the support is not so strong on say, shongua or kubra, and many others i am sure. and the heavy machine gun ought to take down multiple soldiers in certain situations (trying to avoid that "real life" phrase).

Totally agreed. There are a lot of people out there that play only certain maps with low player counts that get screwed by a small range of weapon or tactic. I always play with large numbers of people, kind of waters down how any one thing can get you. I think that is why I dont experience so many of the "problems" that other people post on here. Just a thought.

They need a Karkand City and Strike at Mashtuur. It would be fun to fly a BH around in that dust.

If youlook at my stats, it will say the majority of time I have played on Karkand. That is not by choice. Karkand is the most played map. I never pick to play there it just came out that way.

Id agree that there are other maps but far to few, the urban maps are probably the most fun to play on foot but thats why you specifically notice the infantry weapons 'problems'. You wont see a Dragon valley whore complaining about being sniped by a pkm because he'll be in an apc.
So whilst you may be correct in your statistical appraoch you have negleted to factor in that Karkand specifically is almost entirely played on foot. Having a 100 round automatic sniper rifle isnt very balanced on these urban maps, other maps your not usually far from armour to take care of these pesks- so your less likely to come accross a pkm face to face.
I like the pkm myself, nice to have something that does exactly what it should, people dont run out in front of it and for suppressing fire its great as it is.
                    Im a Wake whore btw.

I also have more time on Karkand than other maps - also not by choice - but this is because you're more likely to find Karkand and other city maps in the server rotations (sometimes even multiple times) than, say, some of the Chinese maps. I'm actually surprised that more people aren't glued to Sharqi Peninsula, but anyways...

                          Re: Battlefield Karkand Experts.

I avoid Karkand. The stat mentality of a predominently Karkand server sours my game play. People running around not working as a team. Doing things that may only help their points or medals at a detriment for the team.

Though it can happen anywhere, in karkand it is manifest.

                          P.S.
I understand people haveing slightly more Karkand in there stats unintentionly due to it's popularity. I'm actually refering to people whos stats indicate they pitch a tent there. It's obvious they play little to no other map.

Karkand is best consumed after 4-5 other, less urban maps.

yes very i think u nailed it. If u think about it wake is good for sniper(let alone sniper good on any map) but also spec ops. Each map has its own kit tailored for it
