Hmm, this is about the 13th restore I've done over the past month, thanks to 1.2...
What I'm wondering is: I've installed BF2. I've paid for SF. But last time I tried BF2 > SF > 1.2 full, it messed up (patching failed). I read somewhere I had to do 1.2 full not incremental, but I don't know if that's right. I tried a fresh install of BF2 - this time no SF. Tried 1.2 full, and I got patching failed. Now I can't connect to any servers, as it crashes to desktop when I try. I've now done a full system restore (I'm becoming more and more familiar with the interface now, and I've also memorized my CD Key off-by-heart thanks to entering it so many times =P). Should I bother? Have EA just swindled me for my money - given me BF2 and SF in exchange for money, only to run off cackling evily?
Sorry if it seems like I'm jumping on the EA-sucks bandwagon, but it's a wee bit frustrating. If I hadn't paid for it, I couldn't care less. But since 1.2, all I've had is restore, uninstall/reinstall, reformat etc  .
